Hello, Solemates,

If it looks like you’ll be staying in today or doing errands, you owe to yourself to join us tomorrow so that you may enjoy at least part of this beautiful weekend outside.

We’ll be going for a nice, pretty easy (1.5 blisters) hike (Oct 9) at Calvert Cliffs State Park. The hike, which was rescheduled from two weeks ago, will include some beach walking where you can search for shark teeth (the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but) and other fossils in the shifting sands of time and the Chesapeake. We’ll walk 5 to 7 miles in this very unique park that’s less than an hour from the Beltway.

Bring a lunch and water bottle. We’ll meet at the Branch Av Metro Station Kiss & Ride lot at 9 am (look for a brown Prius) to carpool. Leaders are Chris Stoughton and me.

Mike
