We are going to continue the tradition of decorating our motorcycles and riding them around, spreading holiday cheer to the appreciative crowds! Hopefully, the weather will hold up and not rain us out like it did last year for our main ride in San Francisco.
For the first ride of our holiday season, we have the annual Montclair Holiday Stroll (http://montclairvillage.com/event/holiday-stroll-montclair-village/) in the cute neighborhood, Montclair Village. We've been invited back to escort Santa into the village with prime parking along the barricades where everyone will get to see our bikes!
We will most likely have dinner at one of the many nice restaurants in the village after the brief festivities. So if you just want to meet us for dinner, feel free to join us! Just post a comment if you're coming for the ride or dinner only.
And you can also get some of your Christmas shopping done at the brick and mortar shops which will remain open later than usual.
MEETUP TIME: 4:45pm - We will have a very quick safety talk as this ride is literally just around the village. KSU 5:00pm.
SKILL LEVEL: This is an evening ride so please be comfortable with riding at night and with slow stop/go riding.
Hope to see you guys there!
HELPFUL TIPS ON DECORATING YOUR BIKE:
• Use an inverter (something like this inverter (http://www.amazon.com/Cobra-400-Watt-12-Volt-120-Volt-Inverter/dp/B001RNOHBC/ref=zg_bs_583328_9))
• LED lights only if they are hooked up to your bike's battery (otherwise, you will drain your battery DEAD)
• Take it for a test ride on the highway before the actual event - you may be surprised at what won't stay on the bike.
• Gaffer's tape and zip ties will help keep decorations/lights on your bike. Don't worry about the tape color - eyes will be on the lights!
