Have you always fantasized about being an athlete, playing a sport, being in amazing shape (even if you're currently not at all) or just being one of those people that walks around in workout clothes all day? Whether you're a former athlete wanting to reacquaint yourself with your sport or you're the one that always got picked last in PE class and want revenge, JOIN OUR TRIBE. We're just people who want to challenge ourselves to get into great shape and make our personal athlete fantasies come true.
We'll come together to plan various individual or group trainings, work toward personal goals including local race events and/or other competitions, and we'll talk about how to hone our athletic mindset and drive, fueling our bodies and other habits. We'll cheer each other on and keep each other focused. All ages and fitness levels welcomed!
Each of us is a work in progress but we're serious about the "progress" part, no matter what activities or sport you choose. This is NOT a business or for-profit program and is totally FREE forever--you just have to want it and are willing to show the "athletic discipline" needed to achieve it.
ABOUT OUR "HUDDLE" MEETUPS:
The Saturday huddle is used as a strategy session to brainstorm an action plan for each of us individually (based on your personal goals that we'll hold you accountable for and support you to achieve) and an action plan for the group as well. The huddle is an opportunity to check-in with the Tribe and debrief on what actions we took to develop as athletes (since the previous meetup) and we'll strategize actions for the coming week. Occasionally we'll have informal workshops or convos around specific TOPICS to help us hone our athletic habits, mindset and performance. Time permitting, we can follow the debrief with workouts. (There's a great park across the street from La Bou with a fitness/ gym area.) Occasionally we'll switch it up and meet around a bigger group activity (destination hikes or some new challenge).
