It's bigger, it's better, it's later! SkateDC Weekend 2018 offers FOUR days of skating and other activities in and around the nation's capital on Memorial Day Weekend, when Rolling Thunder will also be hitting the streets. Please join Washington Area Roadskaters May 25 - 28.
RSVPs are not required, but are encouraged. Please also RSVP on Facebook (where we are more active) at
We'll be back at the Palomar this year, at 2121 P Street NW. The group rates have been extended through May 11. You can get these rates by asking for the Washington Area Roadskaters block when calling the hotel, at[masked], or by using this unwieldy link (the short one wasn't cooperating):
Rates are even lower this year! A room with one king or two queen beds is $149 per night for two people, $179 for three, or $209 for four. The rates extend to Monday, but the link does not reflect that. So if you're staying through Monday, please call the hotel instead of using the link.
National Skate Patrol:
SkateDC Weekend is a National Skate Patrol scheduled event. If you are a member of the NSP, please let us know if you would like to help with marking turns or (especially) with sweeping.
