It's time for the March meetup of the WAUUG. This month we will be hosted by Aquent! They have been gracious enough to offer us space in NW DC. After the meetup we will head out to a bar for some drinks.

I was glad to verify that my Oculus was working and see how quickly and easily it can be integrated into Unity. Very informative.

Great demo of the new virtual reality tech using Unity, excellent food and great location. And I finally got to try the Oculus Rift... Amazing!!!

On topic for Oculus Rift dev:

The March meetup was very good. Adam and Andrew showed off Oculus Rift development and Mecanim functionality. Very informative and looking forward to the next one.

Opps...I meant Sam. My co-worker is Adam and was talking to him and had him on my brain. ;)

This was a great meeting. Witnessing a seasoned Unity developer's workflow was extremely helpful. I can't wait to see more of that.

To that end, I would like to start a regular meetup teaching introductory and intermediate Unity topics. I mentioned this briefly last night. I would like to get the ball rolling on a first class as soon as possible.

Andrew, can you help me with this? I just need a venue to get started. I can commit to a first event as early as the week of March[masked]

For those wanting to use RealSpace3D in their game/app go to...

    www.realspace3daudio.com

There you can sign up and download the packages to import. RealSpace3D currently supports Win/Mac and iOS development should be ready in the next couple of days.

There is a small Unity3D meeting tonight at 5:30 in Vienna (Saturday[masked]). There are some spots lefts, so you can still come if you're considering it. And of course, you can join the group for more information about upcoming events.

How friendly are the topics for people new to unity and game development?
