That's right, my Virginia Gen Xers... we are meeting in the good, old Commonwealth! The purpose of the brunch outing is the same as our usual monthly gatherings - to hang out with other Gen Xers. But of course, this get-together is meant to be convenient for the many Gen Xers who live in Virginia. It's an opportunity to meet and chat with new friends and travel buddies... as well as to talk travel. In fact, if you're interested in the upcoming Iceland trip & have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me - at this meetup or anytime. (Remember, all info is on the Meetup Group page and the booking deadline is March 1.)
We are meeting for brunch at a casual tavern/restaurant in Old Town, Alexandria near the Potomac River that serves delicious farm-fresh American fare and refreshing drinks. It was the Open Table Diners' Choice Winner for "Hot Spot." The restaurant is in a historic feed & grain warehouse from the late 1800s with rustic modern decor. Hope you can make it out! Looking forward to seeing you!
It's Old Town... so street parking mostly. Metro is King Street... but its a good 20 minute walk down to the water and restaurant.
