Faculty and staff will be available to answer questions you might have about what goes on in the Game Lab and the technology and methods that students utilize every day. Program: Interactive Media and Game Design – Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow Join School of Communication's Assistant Professor Benjamin Stokes for an engaging presentation on the state of gaming at AU. Stokes will describe why AU is granting degrees in Game Design, and why AU launched its own Game Studio with clients from museums to corporations. Professor Stokes will profile faculty research, from games that target physical and mental health to games for education with artificial intelligence. Stokes will also dive into new research on Playful Cities, where games are used on physical streets to introduce neighbors, share local history and build community. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. You won't want to miss this engaging and informative presentation.
