As part of the Washington DC community, WWO is playing our part in containing the virus. As of now, it appears the leading method to limit the spread of COVID-19 is social distancing. In collaboration with our trip leaders and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel all trips through March 31. This status will be updated as the virus situation evolves.
We will be reaching out by email to those who reg'd via our website to offer refunds or apply to a future ride.
Stay healthy and safe, and we’ll see you again outdoors just as soon as we can!
Leaving out of Laytonsville, this ride will explore the farther reaches of Montgomery County’s farmland and green space and into Howard County’s preserved farmland and horse country. We pass by historic churches, working farms and the Rachel Carson Conservation Park. This winter version of our Laytonsville ride is shorter but no less beautiful and we’ll likely see beautiful, expansive skies above the open fields. Mostly rolling hills and a few challenging hills.
33 miles – for Intermediate and Advanced Riders.
No further trip details will be posted on Meetup. Once you register, you will receive trip details and directions to the meeting location. If you have questions about an event and do not wish to register, please send an email to [masked].
