Join us for the ultimate Yoga/Art fusion event! Experience a gentle yet revitalizing Yoga practice while creating a fun and personal piece of art.
As you are guided through a sequence of Yoga asanas (postures) you will use the movements of your body to create a beautiful charcoal drawing. Be prepared to get your hands (feet, arms, legs, heck, your whole body!) dirty!!! Come for a playful evening and take home with you a re-energized body, a creative mind, and of course your amazing big format masterpiece!
You do not need to bring Yoga mats to this event. Wear comfortable exercise clothes and be prepared to get dirty (you may like to bring an extra set of clothes to change into after the class). It is recommended that you wait at least 2 to 3 hours after a big meal before attending the Yoga class. Also note that we will be working on the floor for most of the class. Therefore, it may not be suitable for people with knee or hip concerns that are unable to work on their hands and knees.
All materials will be included. =)
This workshop is inspired by Heather Hansen (http://www.heatherhansen.net/film/), an American artist based in New Orleans, LA.
Spots are limited and we will not be able to extend our attendees list this time due to space constraints. So make sure to confirm payment to secure your spots. Upon replying 'Yes' to the event, you will receive an individual message detailing payment options. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!
