From the Oldsmar Flea Market intersection, DO NOT follow signs for Racetrack Road! If you do, you will be going north and you’ll never find us. You need to go SOUTH from that intersection. Turn south onto Lafayette and then make an immediate left onto South Racetrack Road. Go straight about a mile until you see our sign on your left.

Tampa Community Drum Circle is predominately a hand drum circle, certain bass drums are allowed. Shakers, tambourines, Didgeridoos are also welcome. If you are unsure ask. However, Steel drums and drum kits are not welcome.

Hand Drums are very personal property and can be very expensive - ALWAYS ask before using someone’s drum and return back to the correct owner.

Rings, wristbands can destroy drum heads and also injure your hand remember PLEASE remove all hand and arm jewelry before using someone’s drum.

Liquid substances can also ruin certain drums and should be kept away from all drums.

Hand drums are for hands Please make sure sticks or any other objects are not used to bang on the hand drums.

Listen to the others before drumming; play at the volume of the group if you can only hear yourself you are over powering the rest of group.

Respect the need of everyone to breathe fresh air in such a closely packed environment, please smoke outside the circle at designated smoking areas.

The inner circle keeps the flowing energy and movement, dancers or revolving percussionists need space to move around please allow the inner circle space for dancers movement.

Parents do not leave small children unattended around the fire pit or in the drumming circle area.

Ok now that you know what not to do here's what to do...
Please enjoy the rhythms, dance, and drum and have lots of fun!!
