We Knit Waterloo is a social project aimed at symbolically reconnecting our area’s old “High Street” of Lower Marsh and The Cut.

Using the power of wool and their own imagination, everyone is invited to create one or more knitted panels for a shop window or windows along the two streets. Everything is provided free of charge, from the wool to beginners’ knitting lessons courtesy of I Knit London. We’re currently looking for volunteers who would like to take on the knitting for the panels. Don’t worry if you haven’t picked up a pair of needles before – introduction to knitting classes will be running at I Knit London in Lower Marsh from 6pm on the following Tuesdays - October 6th and 20th, November 3rd and 17th and December 1st and 15th. Everything is provided, and one session is all you need to get up and running.

To sign up and receive more information please add your details here and we will add you to our mailing list!
