Come and join our latest WeTest Auckland meetup, where you'll find a community of thinking testers who share experiences and also have fun.
Shirley Tricker has been working for 20 years, has seen countless CV's and has been on both sides of the interview desk. Her presentation will cover her experiences of:
- interviewing testers (what to look for, questions to ask etc)
- finding work (CV, where to look, interviews, etc)
After the experience report, attendees are then encouraged to discuss, question, challenge, and share ideas on the topic. Participation is expected, so come prepared to contribute!
Structure and facilitation will follow the same format as KWST and is best described in the following link - http://adam.goucher.ca/?p=234
Limited to the first 22 participants only; testers of all experience levels welcome.
This workshop is free of charge thanks to sponsorship from Assurity and includes pizza, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
What time does it start and finish?
Doors open at 5.30pm. The first discussion session runs 5.45pm - 6.45pm. From 6.45pm - 7.15pm we will have a 30 minute break for pizza and drinks. The break will be followed by a second discussion session from 7.15 - 8pm.
How do I attend?
RSVP for the event. Numbers are limited but if you're keen please add yourself to the waiting list and if a spot becomes available all those waitlisted are notified.
There is high demand for these sessions so we'd prefer attendees who will stay for the full time.
