The current trend has moved beyond just tracking page views and now includes marketing tags, retargeting, Big Data, analytics, personalization and even real user measurement or monitoring. So how do you limit the impact of all these third party vendors yet provide your company with all the options they need. In tonight's discussion we will discuss how tags can hurt your site, how you can better engineer your site for future tag growth, and how you might use Tag Management software to control it all.
About the speaker:
Steve Thurner has been in the IT industry since 1995. He has a broad and diverse background beginning with coding in COBOL, building web sites, building a handheld application, to helping companies plan for new software installation and most recently conducting load testing of web sites. In his free time Steve is just as passionate working to raise money for the American Diabetes Association and every April takes on the challenge of riding in San Diego’s Tour de Cure as a Red Rider.
