Web3 Law & Policy - Launch
Are you interested in Web3 technologies like blockchain, smart contracts and other decentralised systems? Do you want to learn more about how these technologies interact with the law?
Web3 Law & Policy is a forum that brings together lawyers, developers, academics and other professionals to discuss the legal and policy issues that impact the Web3 ecosystem. These regular meet ups will cover specific topics and may take the form of a panel discussion, presentation or workshop. You can expect discussions on how these technologies operate in various contexts, how law and policy can mitigate risks and facilitate their commercial impact.
Hosted by Ana Pochesneva with Alex Ramsey and Tom Nash. Ana is a researcher for the RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub and will be admitted to the legal profession in mid-2019. Alex has a background in startups design, and Tom is a software engineer who has worked with Smart Contracts and Ethereum since November 2016. Alex and Tom are co-founders of Flex Dapps, a sharp Web3 consultancy that works with reputable clients like the Australian Red Cross, TypeHuman and RMIT Online.
