What we’re about
🧙♂️🧙♀️ The Web3 Sydney community is a collective medium for developers, designers, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts who want to learn more about decentralised or distributed technologies, and to discuss them with like-minded curious people.
💻⛓️ We cover a variety of technical topics across a spectrum of Web3 protocols such as Ethereum, Holochain, IPFS, Swarm, Whisper, Scuttlebutt, Cardstack and many more. We also cover general topics such as decentralised trust, cryptoeconomics, mutual credit currencies, peer-to-peer communications and the social implications of distributed systems.
🌈🦄 We're a globally-connected local collective with a focus on augmenting the ways in which the world is organised, thus allowing everyone to harness efficiency, democracy, and eschew centralised power. We believe this world can be built on a myriad of emerging networking technologies which allow fluid, open communication and value transfer.
😊😍 Our events are open to all humans from beginner to expert. Come along to learn more and have some fun!
