Are you interested in freelance work?

Certainly. Now very much accustomed to the European norm of 6 weeks annual paid leave, I don't know if I can face the paltry two-week American allowance of a typical full-time job.

What is your background?

I've worked as a professional web developer in London since 1996, and have focused on Microsoft technologies for the past five years.

Are there any great web design books that you recommend?

I've got far too many, and I lean heavily towards many of the excellent O'Reilly titles. But I have begun using my online Safari bookshelf a lot more recently and may go paperless soon.

Share with us – what web site(s) do you use the most for inspiration or helpful tips?

For the work I do, I have recently found ScottGu's blog [] to have many useful answers.

I've been a web developer for the past 12 years, mostly working for various design agencies in London. Last year I relocated to the Triangle area.
