Thanks very much for recording this! This is a great group, and we can't all make it to the meetups (different states), but the videos are awesome to keep up to date on such great stuff!

Okay, I've reworked my code into a nice little demo, available here:

    https://github.com/joeedh/subsurf.js

The code is released as public domain, except for those parts which are MIT or Apache (I used dat.gui, require.js, and a bit of Apple demo code).

I've not talked to anyone from autodesk, no.

Joe, thanks for sharing the demo. You have defined the get_ring function twice inside patch.js. Apart from that, it seems to work. Testing it right now.

    Hi all,

Ken Russell from Google will also be sharing WebGL spec updates, WebGL 2 latest, and WebGL highlights from SIGGRAPH! Should be fun.

Tony is God... Anybody in this neighborhood missing these meet ups is missing out on history. This is like when XML was born, when CSS was born, when SVG was born, WebGL is just dotting the i's and crossing the t's to become the next standard in human communications, we are blessed to have these meet ups and human protoplasm on the order of the movers and shakers of a WebGL.

    Heads Up:

Jim Quanci of Autodesk is a definite maybe for tomorrow ( and September 8 ).

Jim is a long time friend of mine because he is thoughtful, kind and perspicacious. I hope that a good number of you will take the time to introduce yourselves and inform Jim of the issues and opportunities for developers in the WebGL space...

Hi all - just a heads up on logistics. There's a Giants game on Wednesday so parking will be a little more challenging and lot prices will be cranked up. Try parking several blocks away or bike or take transit.
