David will share the story of how he started his business from his bedroom in Sydney with one partner in Stockholm and the other in Shanghai, and how they grew into an ecommerce empire of:
+ 40 websites in 15 different languages
+ Attracting over 30 million visitors per year
+ Selling over 100,000 glasses online across 180 brands.. the world's largest range
+ 160 staff across EU, APAC, Americas
Under their "buy one, give one" policy, the company has generously donated US$1.5M worth of prescription glasses to the third world. (This works out at 50,000 glasses donated).
In support of their charity, we will host a LIVE AUCTION that night for brand new designer glasses (sample sale).
