We are exchanging 836 mowers on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at two Weber State University locations, Ogden and Davis. Volunteers are needed to direct traffic, check people in, unload mowers out of cars, move old mowers to recycling containers, and load new mowers into cars.
Shift Times on Saturday, April 21.
Volunteer shifts begin a half hour before their event time, so everyone can learn about their roles and responsibilities. This is especially important for those providing check in. The shifts are 3.5 hours each, as follows:
8:30 a.m. to noon (training at 8:30 a.m., shift with public is from 9 a.m. to noon)
11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (training at 11:30 a.m. shift starts at noon)
There will be floating volunteers to give people breaks through out their shifts. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
There are two exchange locations that will be happening simultaneously. Choose only one location:
Weber State University, Ogden Campus
W-2 Parking Lot, (located on section B 1 and 2 on the map)[masked] Edvalson St, Ogden, UT 84403
Weber State University, Davis Campus
2750 University Park Blvd, parking lot
Thank you for being a part of electrifying lawn equipment across Utah! We are excited to work with you to make a transition to cleaner running equipment. For more information on the program (and for those who are interested to sign up) visit https://www.weber.edu/mowelectric.
