This group is open to anyone and everyone who has an interest in meditation - young and old, beginners and seasoned pros. The purpose of the group is to provide instruction on simple meditation techniques to anyone who wishes to learn and to come together to enjoy meditation as a group. Classes are always free and open to the public.

It helps reduce stress, increase wellness and maintain balance. Experience universal connection and joy! In each of our free weekly classes, we:

Begin the class with the experience of Self Realization

Perform guided meditation led by one of our many experienced volunteers

Watch videos that relate to our experience and learn about our inner subtle system consisting of channels and chakras which govern our well being on all levels - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually

Discover how to awaken your own inner spiritual energy called Kundalini and heal yourself from within.

Perform Chakra cleansing techniques, including Chakra workshop. Experience through meditation how we can improve our overall well being and become a more balanced personality.

Learn how to apply simple and practical techniques that bring meditation into your daily collective experience

This is Sahaja meditation, a practice based on the pure teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. This practice is based on initial self-realization via Kundalini awakening followed by deep spiritual growth assisted by this energy.

You don't need to bring anything to the classes just wear clothing that is comfortable. As always, newcomers are always welcome so please feel free to bring along family or friends.

Please join us for free weekly Sahaja Yoga collective meditation classes in the meeting room at the Whitby Library every Tuesday evening starting at 7:00pm. Beginners welcome. Learn how to enter the state of thoughtless awareness meditation. Gain self knowledge and experience your own inner reality. Sahaja Yoga is worldwide and always free. Discover your self. No need to bring anything to class as we will meditate on chairs (feel free to bring a mat if you prefer to sit and meditate on the floor).

Meditation Class - Oshawa

Queen Elizabeth Public School

Weekly Sahaja Yoga meditation classes in Oshawa are ongoing on Wednesday evenings from 7 pm to 8:15pm at Queen Elizabeth Public School - 1205 Simcoe Street North in the school's library - room #131 (room on the right of the main entrance). Classes will run through to June 19th, 2019. Please note there are no classes during the school's closure for Christmas break. Classes resume Wednesday, January 9th, 2019. There are no fees. All Sahaja Yoga collective meditation classes worldwide are always free of charge. Through Sahaja Yoga we achieve our "Yoga" spontaneously (union with the universal energy which is all around us) which makes us collectively conscious and begin to feel vibrations. Through this meditation we will be able to reach a state called "thoughtless awareness" or mental silence where the mind is silent yet completely aware. We are able to be in the present and enjoy the present moment - not thinking of the future or the past. Classes will run about an hour in length (7-8:15 pm). No need to bring anything to class as we will meditate on chairs (feel free to bring a mat if you prefer to sit and meditate on the floor). Looking forward to seeing you there. Please note that classes are cancelled during school closure days.
