Discuss One Of Ours by Willa Cather
This 1923 Pulitzer Prize winner set during WW1 tells the story of Claude Wheeler, a Nebraska native guaranteed a comfortable livelihood but views himself as a victim of his father's success. Willa Cather [masked]) was lauded for her novels about frontier life as well as her journalism. Interestingly, she regarded most women writers with disdain.

What we're about

Do you keep meaning to read more of the great classics of literature but don't get around to it all that often? Then this book group is for you. I'm a novel lover who reads mainly new releases, but I want to start working my way through the classic books that I'm yet to read. From To Kill a Mockingbird to A Tale of Two Cities, Anna Karenina to Slaughterhouse 5, Catch 22 to The Great Gatsby, they'll all be novels that have stood the test of time, whether they were written in 1780, 1880 or even 1980. Those of us who have already read the title we're discussing can either re-read it or just join in the discussion. I'm open to suggestions on anything. Let me know if you might be interested!
