Do you keep meaning to read more of the great classics of literature but don't get around to it all that often? Then this book group is for you. I'm a novel lover who reads mainly new releases, but I want to start working my way through the classic books that I'm yet to read. From To Kill a Mockingbird to A Tale of Two Cities, Anna Karenina to Slaughterhouse 5, Catch 22 to The Great Gatsby, they'll all be novels that have stood the test of time, whether they were written in 1780, 1880 or even 1980. Those of us who have already read the title we're discussing can either re-read it or just join in the discusdion. We choose the next book by writing down our preference on pieces of paper and drawing one out of a hat.
Our first NZ book! Adapted into a film Hunt for the Wilderpeople by Taika Waititi, this book follows Ricky (when CYFS threatens to put him in care) and his cantankerous uncle as they flee from social services into the Ureweras.

As the result of my son pulling a book title out of a hat (well, plastic bag), it's time to dip back into the Russian literary canon. I've read this one but reckon it's worth a reread. Quite the study of the dark corners of the human psyche.
