August wellington.js

Hey all,

Two great talks this time, with a focus on mobile, and plenty of real-world examples and code:

Daniel McKenzie will talk us through building Trade Me touch using microframeworks including Zepto & Backbone.

Amy Palamountain will share her learnings from a first attempt at building a mobile app using PhoneGap, jQuery Mobile and Knockout.js.

Plus, I Want My Name have kindly offered to sponsor the meet-up, so we'll have Pizza and refreshments.

Can this Meetup be streamed or made available online? Can't make this session in person, but would love to watch.

A simple way is via a live Google Hangout, on a laptop (it gets recorded to your YouTube account).

The problem isn't the streaming, its the equipment to get audio that is ledgible. Espeacially when it comes to audience questions.
