Hi, I'm very keen on tramping, but have a 5 year old son so mostly I do tramps with him..But, I can also leave him with papa and do real tramps!

What was your most exciting tramp so far?

Hmm, the hardest was Mt Adams 2007, but that was too hard! One of the best was 3 passes a year ago, Tappy is also always fun in winter ...the most difficult was probably my introduction to the Tararuas, southern crossing crawling!

Which tramp did you always want to do?

Copeland pass!! Or Ivory Lake hut, flew over it for work ..but must be a very hard trip to get there

On a scale of 1-10, how do you rate your tramping experience?

7 maybe? Quite experienced but not into bush bashing or endurance etc. I do also solo tramps in the Tararuas or solo with my son and then I carry heavy weights (him+all the stuff for two) and I do easy alpine stuff too.

I love tramping in the Tararuas
