What we're about

We're looking to have meaningful conversations in a relaxed, fun and welcoming atmosphere.
We plan on having a topic each time with a discussion. We originally had a particular approach in mind but now are allowing the structure to grow organically.
Really we just want to connect with people who think like us or people who challenge our thinking, people who believe in the fantasticness of humanity and its potential and who would enjoy exploring these topics so that we can all feel empowered to make our patch of the world a little brighter.

Building Resilience

Online event

Join us for an interactive discussion on the topic of Building Resilience.

It is easier to be passive; more convenient to stay still. Comfort and inertia try to convince us that we ought to remain stagnant, the risks of arising try to keep us silent and seated. Forces in society, increasingly effective at grabbing our attention for material gain, promote entertainment and distraction to so extreme a level that they risk alienating us from our most fundamental impulses: to be forces of positive change, of support, and service in our own families and communities.

To resist passivity requires a combination of qualities, including detachment and courage. It was Maya Angelou who said, "Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage."
