Come on to Normandy on a leisurely cycling holiday from Cherbourg to Caen with our tents stopping off at bars, beaches, D Day museums, Bayeaux, Caen City enroute. We aim to do 25 – 30 miles on average each day stopping off at campsites that take our fancy.

We plan to catch Brittany Ferries as follows:
Saturday 8 July 2017 at 07.30 hours Portsmouth & arriving 11.30am Cherbourg £35 cost
Sunday 16 July 2017 at 08.30 hours Caen and arriving back Portsmouth 13.15 hours £35 cost (with optional 2 berth en-suite bunk bed cabin £21 or £5 for a seat).

UPDATE on 21/11/2016:
Jo and me (Ed) have just booked up. So far in total we have 5 of us going. Ferry price has increased to £44 per bicycle passenger each way so £88. On return trip we have booked an inside cabin costing £21. Total for both of us £197 with £35 deposit payable now and balance of £162 to be paid on 23/5/2017. Travel Lodge nr to ferry terminal also booked at £56 for non refundable double room price for night of Friday 7/7/2017. SUGGEST YOU BOOK NOW AS FERRY PRICES LIKELY TO INCREASE AS TIME GOES ON.
