From massage therapy to herbs and old fashion tomatoes; we try to weed out the fact from the fiction and welcome you to join us. This group is for ALL people personally or professionally seeking a healthy life style for themselves and their family. We will discuss weekly a different health related topic. Your input is valued an necessary. Discussions will tend to be compare and contrast. For example, "The benefits of over 40 exercise" will discuss types of exercises and its effects; from moving the remote control to dog walking, tennis, golf, swimming or gyms and personal trainers . What works? What causes problems? What are your experiences? We encourage our members to attend the meeting with news clippings, personal stories, benefits, injury stories and doctor's recommendations. We also encourage you to bring children old enough to participate and understand the weekly topic when applicable.
Example: "Healthy Food Choices" will be held in a supermarket and/or farmers market as well as a trip to a local diner to go over a standard American diner menu. Children old enough to choose and prepare food at home are welcome to attend. We believe health is a family decision. Topics will change each week. We will give you an opportunity to do your homework by posting 2 weeks in advance. Don't be afraid to cause controversy. If you have debatable evidence something out of mainstream works bring it on in. You may hold the future in an idea that everyone else thinks is CRAZY. We are not doctors. We are individuals that seek vibrant health thru life style. We are individuals that take personal responsibility for our health and the health of our family.
