The RaptorFest is a free event. Normal admission to the preserve is $3 as it is part of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation. Parking lot shuttles are well organized. Be prepared for birds to be 3 feet from you ... perched on a gloved hand. Bring a snack and water and a telephoto lens. Bathrooms are in the entrance building. www.raptorfest.org

In case you didn't know, every day they bring out the Raptors, and walk them around. Usually around 3:30-4pm. They don't do this on Saturdays. They encourage photos during the walks.
