What we're about
We are a NON-POLITICAL group of US Veterans and Seniors that have joined together to make a positive impact on our community, but our doors are open to guests of good character, regardless of age or gender.
We do this by meeting up several times a week for competitive live Texas Hold'Em poker and other tournaments where we collect a fee to play and donate the profits of the game to local charities.
Last year, in our first year as an organized group, we made a positive impact to the tune of over $12,000 in donations to such charities as Just Hope Inc. in Mocksville, Kids of Childhood Cancer in Kernersville, Unchained Winston in Winston Salem, Ruff Love in Jonestown, the Clemmons Foodbank and many more.
We also have nightly games in which you can designate any charity or cause you would like to help fund. You do not have to make any donation or "buy" chips to play.
Your daily membership fee of $5 covers your right to play, your food and drinks are provided free and members may request a donation to be made by the club in any amount at any time.
Decisions are rendered immediately in most cases, with the majority of requests fulfilled.
We play at 2554 Lewisville Clemmons Rd Clemmons, Suite 312.
We serve a nightly meal to any that are hungry, free to any that cannot afford the membership fee, every night at 6:30 PM.
League nights are Tuesday and Thursday, Tourney nights are Wednesday and Saturday, and open games every night night (closed Sundays.)
Our new regular schedule for 2017 is Monday through Friday, Cards fly at 7, doors open at 6:30.
Join us for chess, backgammon, cards or just for fellowship and help us make our community a better place to be.
Hope to see you here.
