In this extended session, we will explore yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation practises that can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and stress.
It will also include home practise recommendations and other hint and tips to help you when you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, as well as a 35 minute yoga nidra session. Yoga nidra is a transformative state of deep relaxation, where you are guided into a conscious yet deep sleep. It is a very nourishing and restorative practise.
Studies have shown that by reducing perceived stress and anxiety, yoga appears to modulate stress response systems for example reducing the heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and easing breathing.
