An evening for young adults aged 21-35 seeking to build community around their faith. We will rotate a variety of lecturers and themes as they pertain to young adulthood. Light refreshments will be served with a donation of $15. Register here: https://www.holyfamilyretreat.org/calendar/hops-and-holiness-nov-2019
Here is our first topic, which will be led by our first speaker, Chris Hadad:
Life is filled with challenges that test us and unfortunately, sometimes we fail. Those challenges and failures can be a gift if we are open to seeing the opportunity they present. In our pursuit of real joy and purpose in this world, the path is almost always through, not around, the challenges and failures we encounter.
Chris Haddad is the Director of Campus Ministry at Northwest Catholic High School and director of youth ministry and of the Confirmation program at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Hartford. He practiced law for 23 years before changing careers and is now in his second year of the Diaconate program with the Archdiocese of Hartford. Sign up online and feel free to bring beer or wine. Light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
