You're browsing Meetups, wondering if there is anything intriguing to do, hoping there's some inspiring people to meet who are creative, bold, and also looking for something different.
This could be your group or it may not be.
Either is okay. But maybe I - or this group could be the next diamond in the odd, adult social scene of Los Angeles.
Who is this group for?
This group is for women in their mid twenties and beyond who identify as entrepreneurs.
You should be:
***Not a part of Multi level marketing for example: Scenty, Avon, Rodan + Fields, Mary Kay etc.***
Someone who is in the beginning phases of building their business. Someone who has been running their own business for awhile and would love to meet other equally awesome ladies with similar interests. Someone who is interested in a career change that may be regarded as non-traditional. A creative individual who wants motivate and inspire other female entrepreneurs.
Caution: This group is not for someone who wants to kick back and have one person assume leadership of the group. My intention in starting this Meetup is to function as a team. Different events or meetings we create might sometimes require prep and members should be willing to volunteer. Understandably, we are all busy people and having leadership of the group rotate rather than remain stagnant will allow the group to run more efficiently.
Here’s an idea of what may be required of you:
Laughing and being ridiculous most of the time. This is a must! Creating content or researching books related to building your own business and sharing that information with the group. Being creative, not all activities are limited to research or books. We can come up with anything we desire to do! Signing up as the host for at least 2 meetings in the year (you can find a public spot or provide your apartment/house as a meeting space). Meeting and socializing with other cool people like yourself. Giving and receiving advice and support. Bringing delicious food and drink to share and enjoy with others. Being Flexible. Few things in life run without any bumps. But, that is okay. The ultimate goal is to learn, have fun, and make new connections.
For now, meeting once a month will be a good start. I would like the group to be a small size so I need to limit this group to about 10 members. In order to join the group you must tell me about yourself (how would you describe yourself? What is your personality like? What types of people do you gravitate towards?), your entrepreneurial goals, and most importantly ***what you would like to get out of this group**!
Based on the information you provide, I will compile a group of people who would be a good fit for this group. So, the more I know about you - the better.
Looking forward to meeting some very inspiring, wonderful female entrepreneurs!
