10 miles/16.1 km - Moderate
This 10 mile walk is a great adventure in the High Weald with long woodland trails, sudden views and unexpected encounters. See much celebrated follies, including an observatory, temple and pyramid, built by eccentric landowner “Mad Jack” Fuller.
Picnic-lunch with pub stop along the way.
Please note that there is a £2 voluntary contribution for non-Rambler members towards meetup fees.
Paid up members of the Ramblers are welcome on any of our walks, but we would encourage you to RSVP. This is to give our volunteer walk leaders an idea of how many are attending, and also to keep the numbers manageable.
If, on the day of the walk, you are still on the waiting list and a Rambler member, please let the walk leader know you are coming - the walk leader can be contacted on[masked]
