Meet at the public car park in West Street, Wrotham.
This 9.5-mile circular walk starts at the historic village of Wrotham and takes us westwards along the Pilgrims and North Downs Way and then northwards along woodland and farmland footpaths towards Church Wood with its grade 1 listed church at West Kingsdown.
The return route to Wrotham is via footpaths and bridleways. There will be some views of the Weald of Kent along the route. There are a number of pubs in Wrotham for anyone who wants to stop for a drink at the end.
There will be a picnic lunch with optional pub stop at the end.
Please note that there is a £2 voluntary contribution for non-Rambler members towards meetup fees. Paid up members of the Ramblers are welcome on any of our walks, but we would encourage you to RSVP. This is to give our volunteer walk leaders an idea of how many are attending, and also to keep the numbers manageable. If, on the day of the walk, you are still on the waiting list and a Rambler member, please let the walk leader know you are coming. On the day of the walk only, the group leader can be contacted on[masked] - voice calls only (no texts).
