Friday Evening Walton & Clent hills social walk 6.45 for 7.00pm

Walton&Clent hills social walk
When:Fri 15 Aug[masked] PM
A walk in the Clent hills avoiding the crowds by taking less popular routes to the summits. Although a short walk, a fair bit of climbing is involved.
The walk should take about 1h 30 - 1h 40 min. The plan is to go to the pub nearby for drinks/evening meal after we finish it. It is called The Swallow's Nest. It has a large outdoor terrace overlooking the hills. Please let me know who is coming to the pub, so I can reserve a table. The menu and location could be found in the link below. Hopefully the weather will be nice enough to sit on the terrace and enjoy the views.
This is a circular walk climbing Walton and Clent hills and enjoying some of the best views in the county.
Start point is the National Trust car park at Nimmings Wood SO938807, postcode B62 0NL. It is free for National Trust members and £2.50 otherwise but there is normally nobody there after 6 pm or park on the road just outside

Start time 6.45 for 7.00 pm

Grade easy to medium

Thank you all for your company yesterday. It was my first ramble with the WM 40+ and very much enjoyed the walk (apart from the last climb which almost finished me off!). Soon recovered and enjoyed a nice fish & chips with pleasant company. Thank you for having made me very welcome as part of your group and to those I didn't get to speak to yesterday, I hope to catch up with you at the next ramble!
    Kind regards, Diana

Hello Elvira, sorry I've had to cancel the walk this evening. I've got a foot problem and my physio is a bit concerned the Clent Hills might be a slope too far! I don't want to risk it as trying to get fit for trek in October. I'll keep a look out for upcoming flatter walks. Enjoy your evening - it looks like the weather is going to behave. Marg

As I could not quite find the location using the post code given, I went to the National Trust site and their post code for Nimmings Wood car park is DY9 9JR.
If others are struggling to find the location, they may want to try this post code.
