Do you own your own equipment (board, paddle, PFD)?

10' Bic Ace Tec Cross Fit, 11' Bic Wing

How long have you been SUPing? How would you characterize your SUP level and experience?

Started early summer '15 by taking a class at Charles River Canoe & Kayak, then another... Originally I was mostly interested in SUP yoga, but got hooked on it in general.

What would you like to get from membership in this group? (e.g. fun outings, practice and skill improvement, serious race training?)

Mostly paddle outings with a group.

Can you suggest some great paddling locations north and west of Boston? Any interest in organizing/leading a paddle at a favorite spot?

*Nashua R Groton, Petapawag launch- Downstream from here to Pepperell Dam is "Pepperell Pond". *Nashua R, Nashoba Paddler- 1.5 miles upstream from Petapawag. They rent boards. (If you're not renting from them they charge to use their dock, annoying if you're only there because other people ARE renting.) *Concord R, Lowell Rd- close to stuff like Old North Bridge. *Sudbury R off 117- Decent parking but fills up at prime times. Bit of a carry to launch but not too bad. Close to Fairhaven Bay section. *Charles River may have some sections of interest, and there are some rental options. *Hopkinton Reservoir- Board rentals. Very clean, good place to fall in. Lots of parking by boat ramps and rental place. Entrance fee or state park pass (many libraries have passes to check out.) *Ashland Reservoir- another state park, but less developed with dirt ramp and no rentals. *Whitehall Reservoir- Plenty of free parking. Nice but might need to be careful of route and wind.

Anything else you’d like to tell us about yourself or anything you’d like to add?

I kayak, paddleboard, scuba dive, and generally love water. I especially like to paddle places where there's interesting scenery or wildlife to see.
