As Thanksgiving approaches, it's great to take a moment to express our gratitude. Here at the West Michigan Real Estate Investors Club, we have much to be grateful for. With almost 1000 members, wonderful, well attended meetings, and helpful people all coming together to make deals happens, we are lucky.
This session will primarily be about networking, and continuing to grow great real estate relationships. Whether you're looking to find your next deal, offer your services, or meet a great new partner, this is the place to be. But we will take a brief time to allow folks to share what real estate has meant to them, and why they are grateful for this amazing industry.
All are welcome. Deals happen every month at this meeting, and many great relationships are created and developed. As always, we will have our 'Haves and Wants' section, where you can offer your services, tell people what you're looking for, or sell a property. Don't miss out on the experience!
I look forward to seeing you all there. Thank you for making this group great!
When it comes to investing, it seems like there are unlimited options. Do I flip houses? Do I purchase single family rentals? Do I wholesale? Do I look for multi-family units?
In this fun meetup, we will dig into the pros and cons of Single Family vs. Multi-Family investments. Drawing on the wisdom of the group, we will discuss a wide variety of issues, ranging from initial cost to return on investment, and from ownership headaches to exit strategies.
Come learn from the pros, network with like-minded people, and make the connections you need to take your investing to the next level. All while enjoying some great food and a great atmosphere at Buffalo Wild Wings.
As always, we will have our 'Haves and Wants' section, where you can offer your services, talk about houses you have for sale, or explain what you need to the group. Every month, people generate business from these meetings. Don't miss out on the action!
See you there!
Are you a newer wholesaler looking for a few great tips to get you going? Are you an established investor trying to find great off-market deals? Are you sick of hearing this 'wholesaling' word getting thrown around without fully understanding it?
This is the meetup for you. The presentation will start with a basic overview of the wholesaling process, as well as some important distinctions about what it IS and what it ISN'T.
Then, we'll open it up for questions. Want to know how to find great properties and wholesale them? Want to move to the top of a wholesaler's list? Want to understand the skills you need to be successful? Just ask! We'll have an open floor to answer your questions.
Of course, we'll also have our popular 'Haves and Wants' session, where you can bring your deals and skills to the table, and ask the group what you need. Don't let your deal flow slow to a trickle - make things happen!
Enjoy all of this in a great atmosphere with fantastic food. See you there!
Believe it or not, summer is winding down. Soon, students will be heading back to class, vacations will wind down, and we'll enter a new housing season. Be ready for the change by forging some great relationships!
Whether you are looking for your next deal, a great contractor, financing, or a professional, folks in the room are there for you. As always, we will have our excellent 'Haves and Wants' session, where you can offer your real estate, services, and skills to those in the room. And don't be afraid to ask for what you're looking for... our members are ready to help.
Enjoy great food and drinks while building your investing business. See you there!
Wealth Building Showdown! Robert Kiyosaki vs. Dave Ramsey... who will reign supreme?
There is a lot of advice about how to achieve wealth. Should you focus on buying assets or reducing debt? Should you purchase investment property with leverage, or wait until you can get it with cash? Should you focus on low-cost index funds or high cap properties?
At this session, we'll search for the ultimate answers. We will divide into teams, and challenge each other with questions and debate designed to help YOU decide the best path. We'll give away a couple of prizes, and should have a great time!
As always, we'll have our Haves and Wants session, where you can let people know what you're looking for (and what you'd like to offer). Make deals happen, have great food, and enjoy a fun evening!
Accidents happen. Trees fall, wind blows, and snow falls. When you've got money, time, effort, and energy wrapped up in your investment houses, insurance makes a BIG difference. Do you really understand coverages? Are your assets protected? What will happen when the unexpected occurs?
Joel Emerson is an experienced insurance agent with years in the industry. He'll talk about the 'Three Levels' of insurance, and how it's easy to get the wrong coverage if you're not careful. He'll tell you what to look for, and how to ensure that your money-making investments continue to be profitable for you.
As always, we will feature our 'Haves and Wants' section, where folks can share what they're looking for and what they are bringing to the table. Looking for a particular deal? Have a house you're ready to sell? Perform a service that might be valuable to others? Come on out and share, and make things happen.
