West Volusia Audubon will be conducting a Birding Field Trip in the Deltona, FL area. This Field Trip is being led by Eli Schaperow, a 30 year resident of Deltona. The purpose of these field trips is to get people out to enjoy nature, look for, learn about & share information about birds. Everyone is welcome to participate! Birding in the Deltona area will usually produce at least 50 different bird species. Various habitats will be visited such as: Lyonia Preserve, Lake Sixma, Stone Island, Lake Monroe, Audubon Park & Lake DuPont. Birding will continue as long as participants are willing & everyone is free to leave at any time. Please bring along binoculars, cameras, scopes, bug spray, birding field guides, lunch, drinks, snacks, etc. RSVP is appreciated but not required.
