Join WVAS members as they listen to Dr. Erin Holder from Florida Wild Veterinary Clinic discuss their efforts at the Wildlife Rehabiliation Center.  Dr. Holder's Wildlife Rescue program is often the first place an injured animal is brought.  Her team performs medical evaluations and treats the animals accordingly.  She has created prosthetic legs for Sandhill Cranes and treated Bobcat, Birds of Prey, Foxes, and a multitude of other critters.  She utilizes a network of licensed rehabilitators to receive the animals after treatment and until they're ready to be released back into the wild.

There will be opportunity for questions at the end of the program and (as always) GREAT refreshments afterwards.

Dr. Lisa Mason did a great job subbing for Dr. Holder who was not able to come. The critters and birds were delightful to see and we learned a lot about what FloridaWild does to help injured wildlife. Refreshments were great too as was Harry's cake.
