Flyers are good.

When is Dexcon?   I think carpooling/dinner would be neat-o

Thanks for taliking to NerdNYC..  We should be one happy , if a bit spread out family.

I think it might not be a bad idea to do some flyers we can then distribute to various geek-friendly venues around Westchester, including the comic book and game stores, and maybe the local Cons (DexCon in July and RetCon on Long Island in August).

Speaking of DexCon, maybe we want to organize a carpooling setup and/or arrange to all get together for dinner or something, depending on who is going?

If it's OK with everyone, I will also pass word along to the NerdNYC board that we're out here for anyone there who may be interested in stuff we're doing.

Good morning,

I noticed that this group was folding.  I decided to pay for another few months, to try to keep nerd/geek culture alive in Westchester.

But what to do with this group?  Any ideas?  The movie thing was cool, and we should build on that.  The nerds in the city do "nerd Trivia" once a month at a local watering hole in Manhattan.  Would people be interested in that?  How about an "Arkham Horror" game day at somebody's house?  INdy RPG night? Organizing trips to local cons?

I am willing to try to get some things off the ground. Email me back if you have ANY ideas.
