I'd like to organize a German folklore discussion and Kaffee-Stunde for the family. We'll meet monthly, starting in October. Any adult or child can tell a German folk tale in German or English, create art work, or participate in Grimm/Slam! You must provide both translations two weeks ahead, to be published in the event flyer. I'll ask if the German American Social Club in Peeksville will host the event. A panel the majority comprised of 6-9 grade high school students and a few adults will be the judge of how much they enjoyed the tale.
All are encouraged to participate!
Please send information on you interest to participate and any suggestions of sponsorship.
Please see our discussion and contribute to the folklore.
Lets take our language practice outdoors to the driving range.
Don't play? No problem, borrow our clubs. It cost under $10 for a bucket of balls.
The practice lasts about 40 minutes and can be continued at the restaraunt.
I prefer golf courses in Westchester county, but will go to Queens or elsewhere.
Early morning, after work, or on weekends!
