Where on the Western Slope do you live? how long have you been there? Where did you come here from? How did you learn about the WSA group and why did you join? Do you plan to be an "Active" member or is WSA just one more web registration for you?

Grand Junction in December

How and about what time in life did you get started with outdoor recreation? What are a few of your favorite outdoor activities?

I lived in Denver in the 90s and learned to ski and started hiking.

What is the most challenging hike, bike, backpack, 14er, canyoneering, ski/snowshoe, river trip or other outing you've ever done? How or why was that; and, would you do that or something similar again?

Can't say most challenging. My favorite place to hike is Estes Park.

Where is the most scenic place you have ever slept in a tent, walked or biked on a trail or travelled by paddle or oar down a river?

Banff hiking is hard to beat.

After you've been on a few events with us, what kind of event might you be willing to to initiate and share with fellow WSA adventurers? Organize a hike? road or mtn bike ride? an evening on the river? a ski or snowshoe on Grand Mesa? Or... ?

Like to hike, snowshoe, road bike, ski in the area- maybe go a little further than Powderhorn...

Introduction

I have been in Grand Junction over a year and love the outdoor opportunities! I'm a hiker, downhill skier, sort if biker and kayaker always looking for an adventure.
