One of the areas where machine learning techniques is seeing an increasing adoption is in the field of human resources. Traditional methods of hiring and recruitment do not always meet the needs of a fast-changing workforce. Hiring managers and recruiters are often challenged to find the right candidate in a short period of time. The typical process involves having to go through multiple profiles and arranging for screening calls before candidates can be brought in for face-to-face interviews. MapRecruit has built a platform that eases some of these pains by using machine learning techniques to automate several hiring practices. MapRecruit automates the resume screening process with the software learning the context of what the job requirements are and then predicting qualified candidates. The platform also enables automated calling of candidates and does an analysis of the audio recording to shortlist candidates for a particular job. Big names like Randstad, Monster have been working with them for the last two years.
