Come meet the ladies of the Westlake Village Junior Women's Club and learn of how we have fun while doing good over appetizers and beverages on the patio. The Westlake Village Junior Women’s Club was founded in 1968 by women dedicated to improving the lives of others through volunteer service. Now in our 50th year of service, our members continue the work of actively serving women and children living in the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas. We are daughters, mothers and sisters and we are united by a desire to be deeply involved in our community, ignite motivation and inspire change.

What we're about

Our mission is to unite young women within the Conjeo Valley and surrounding areas through friendship, education, and a desire to be deeply involved in our community through civic and philanthropic work.
We also provide opportunities for leadership development and personal growth to benefit both our members and our community.

Fundraisers: The Club sponsors one major fundraiser each year, The Gingerbread Holiday Boutique in November.

Funds:
Each year we raise an average of $35K –these funds are donated and support charities located in the Conejo Valley Many Mansions – Provides housing for homeless or very low income people in our community. To date we have donated over $213K in support -tutoring for children of the residents Conejo Free Clinic – Mammogram fund –last year we were able to fund over 400 mammograms for local women without insurance or access to proper medical care. This helps to identify breast cancer early on. Cancer Support Community In WLV –each year we fully fund the Children Circle Program that supports children who their family member is diagnosed with cancer. Projects Serving the Community We are always striving toward serving our community in new ways. Santa Comes to Westlake, Agoura and Beyond –mission it was to make sure that no families in our community would experience hunger during the holiday season. The Westlake Junior Women’s Club took over all planning and execution activities in 2009 to continue this wonderful tradition. Each year over 100 needy, local families receive bags of groceries or grocery and gas gift cards to ensure a happy holiday season abundant with food.
The food is delivered to the families on the first Saturday in December by community volunteers. Meals on Wheels – In addition to financial assistance, twice a month, the Westlake Juniors provide volunteers who deliver meals to homebound seniors. Feed the Hungry – In addition to financial assistance, once a month from October to March, members prepare and serve homemade meals to local men, women, and children who are in need.

In addition to all the hard work we put into serving the community, we also like to have fun! We have a social event almost every month, we started a Wine Club, we have made friends for a lifetime. We invite you to come to a meeting and discover what Juniors is all about.
