This is a facilitated, fortnightly group for anyone seeking to go deeper into A Course in Miracles (ACIM). Beginners welcome. Our aims are to:
- deepen our understanding of the Course
- share our own experience of the truths expressed in the Course
- share our knowledge of what works in our personal development
- enjoy each other's company!
Meetings of up to 10 students are held in West London on alternate Thursday evenings 7-9pm, and guided by a facilitator who prepares Course passages and themes for the group to read and discuss. Each meeting is 'stand-alone' and so it does not matter where you are in your own reading of the Course, or if you are doing the Lessons or not - we do not go in any particular order. We comment on passages as we go, usually two or three paragraphs at a time. We also start and finish with a short group meditation. Occasionally a guest speaker is invited in, or we play a Course board game. Any member can participate, by signing up from 7pm on the preceding Friday (ie. 6 days prior). Once full, the group operates a waiting list system.
This group is for Course discussion only, so we do not focus on other materials. This said, related spiritualities, such as Byron Katie, Abraham Hicks, Eckhart Tolle and Advaita, occasionally make their way into the discussion.
At times, a member organises a social get-together for the group, in a London pub, park or restaurant.
