The Weston A Price Foundation challenges politically correct nutrition and the diet dictocrats, promoting wise traditions in food, farming and the healing arts.
We challenge, amongst other things, the belief that cholesterol and saturated fats are deadly toxins. We promote consumption of grass fed, organic or biodynamic animal products, and other nutrient dense foods, aiming to link consumers with local farmers and artisan producers. We also promote many nourishing traditions that will vastly multiply the nutrition of vegans, vegetarians and others. Topics include fermented raw foods, the proper preparation of seeds, grains and legumes, the dangers of unfermented soy products and the benefits of raw dairy products.
Unfortunately raw milk is illegal in Scotand so in time, we hope to campaign for its legalization, and are keen to campaign on other health freedom issues. In the meantime it can be purchased mail order from England and Wales, CLICK HERE for mail order sources of raw milk. Most lactose intollerance is caused by pasteurization which destroys digestive enzymes and probiotics naturally occuring in dairy products.
CLICK HEREfor the London Chapter directory which includes raw milk and fermented foods, with mail order sources that are available in Scotland. We hope to develop a Scottish directory in time.

In the early 1930s, the Cleveland dentist named Weston A. Price (1870-1948) began a series of unique investigations. For over ten years, he traveled to isolated parts of the globe to study the health of populations untouched by western civilization. His goal was to discover the factors responsible for good dental health. His studies revealed that dental caries and deformed dental arches resulting in crowded, crooked teeth are the result of nutritional deficiencies, not inherited genetic defects. His findings are set out in his book, "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration", which can be purchased online. Click Here for a free online version.
When Dr. Price analyzed the foods used by isolated peoples he found that the lacked dental caries, deformities and degenerative disease. In comparison to the Western diet of his day, their diets provided at least FOUR TIMES the water-soluble vitamins, calcium and other minerals, and at least TEN TIMES the fat-soluble vitamins, from animal foods such as butter, fish eggs, shellfish, organ meats, eggs and animal fats--the very cholesterol-rich foods now shunned by the public as unhealthful. Whilst different people's consumed different foods, Dr Price discovered dietary practices common to all isolated groups who had learned through thousands of years of trial and error the appropriate foods for optimum human development.
"If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls who live under tyranny." Thomas Jefferson (1778)
