Meetup Description: Hello All,

Here's an update. TOKYO SONATA is only playing through this Thursday, so I have rescheduled the film for tomorrow evening (Tuesday, April 7th) at the Laemmle Sunset 5 at 7:00pm. I have 20 free passes.... 18 remaining, so the first 18 of you to rsvp, get in for free. This theatre is general seating and the film starts at 7:00pm. I will stand outside with the passes until 6:45pm. If you arrive after that, you can try to find me inside or call me at [masked]). PLEASE try to make it to the theatre NO LATER than 6:45pm, otherwise I cannot guarantee you a seat or a pass.

Anyone is welcome, but just note that only the first 18 get in for free.

The Japanese film titled "Tokyo Sonata" by Director Kiyoshi Kurosawa, opens
on March 27 in Los Angeles at Laemmle's">Laemmle's Sunset 5.

Internationally recognized director Kiyoshi Kurosawa delivers a real-life narrative film that is just as compelling and darkly chilling as the thrillers and genre horror films for which he is famous. The broad
disintegration of traditional Japanese life in the face of the cultural and business pressures of modernityand globalization is shown in "TOKYO SONATA" through the example of one upper middle-class family as it unravels into despair and dysfunction.
