How long will the event last tonight?

The schedule says 7-9pm, so that's the plan. If some amazingly cool all-night jam breaks out, then maybe we'll run a little longer B)

Do I need to bring anything other than my guitar and myself? Will there be handouts with the chords and lyrics to the songs we will cover?

    May 1, 2013

    • Jim

Just you & your guitar will work out fine. We'll use a whiteboard if we need to chart songs since they are all very simple. My goal is to have handouts with the collected survival chords--if I get all the diagrams done in time, we'll have them :)

Sounds good. I'll RSVP. I've been reluctant to come because of the distance - a 2 hour trip by bus and MAX from the Milwaukie area. It seems to me it would be worth it now that I know what you're going to be doing. I can certainly dig the music. Very much my cup of tea.

I know what you mean. I don't drive either so I tend not to go to events in Milwaukie :) I will try to keep my ears open for anyone else coming from that direction, maybe there's a carpool option.
