A group for women, 35+ on the westside to meet up for workouts, wellness events and the occasional glass(es) of wine. I hope to create a small community of likeminded women who like to workout, explore the wellness scene and hangout socially for brunch or happy hour.
Maybe you're looking for a workout partner at a studio you already frequent (me!) or you're looking to try new workouts and studios (hi, ClassPass!). Or maybe you wanna add a smoothie or brunch date to your calendar (also me!). I LOVE the diversity of some of the meetup groups but as a fortysomething, I wouldn't mind play dates with peeps more my age.
A little about me: I'm constantly trying to beat the ClassPass system. I've finally joined three different studios - maybe close to my ideal weekly workout mix:) On Saturday mornings lately, I've done a double header megaformer class followed by a SUP yoga sesh - topped off by a yummy lunch, a margarita and an epic nap (my perfect Saturday TBH).
LOCATION: You'll see that this group is centered around westsiders and westside activities for the most part. It' s nice to have a community of peeps you can hang with on your side of town. Personally, I'll never drive far for a workout, particularly during the week! You're welcome to join if you're not a westsider, just understand the focus and purpose of a location-based group.

SOCIAL INTEREST: Please only join if you are interested in being socially active. I've been stuck talking to folks at a fair share of meetups who seem to have no interest in being social! The larger purpose of this group should be to meet people you connect with and can form relationships with outside of meetup!
ENGAGEMENT: If, after a month or two, you haven't actively RSVPd (yes or no) for any events, you may be removed from the group.
