Christmas Adventure Weekend in Killarney

Hello Wet & Wilders,

So Wet & Wild has teamed up with a very exciting venture 'Killarney Outdoor Winter Experience' this festive season to bring you an amazing weekend of outdoor activities and social evenings between the 2nd - 4th of December.

Not been to a Wet and Wild event before? Wet and Wild is a sports and outdoor pursuits group for the LGBT community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered individuals) in Ireland, and pretty much everyone else who wants to join in to have an enjoyable time and meet some really nice people :)

This is a brand new all-inclusive weekend away in Killarney, Co Kerry. The action packed weekend includes finger food on arrival on the Friday, 2 nights B&B, a guided hike up Ireland's highest mountain- Carrauntohil on the Saturday, dinner Saturday night, bikes around the Killarney National Park on the Sunday and a free leisure centre pass to use over the weekend! Wow!

As well as all the above we will take part in some good evening sessions where we can can unwind and have a few drinks. We will have free concessions for some of the bars over the weekend and drink specials are also organised in selected bars such as The Shire (Ireland's very own "lord of the rings" themed Pub). See full itinerary below.

The price of the weekend is €129. We Require a €50 deposit before November 14th to secure your spot for the weekend, the remaining €79 can be paid on arrival. Bank details to follow in another email along with suggested items of clothing for the weekend hike and cycle.

We have booked 2* 8 bed dorms booked in a recently renovated Hostel in Killarney called "The Sugan Hostel". The accommodation is clean and cosy and is located in the heart of town. You can check out their website at

    Hello Guys,

So uptake has been a bit slow so far and i'm just wondering is it a bit close to Christmas for some people? Just as a matter of interest if we moved it forward a week would many of ye still be able to come? I have a group of about 10 people booked in for that weekend and with ye joining them it would still make for a fantastic weekend. If ye could get back to me as soon as so I can organise stuff that would be great.

If people are happy with the smaller group and can only go on the date we stick with that. Kind Regards
