I tried Chelsea Bistro the first week they opened back in August and loved it - of course, I chose the best dish on their menu which was the Parisian Gnocchi with Prawns (everyone agreed). I hear their drinks are amazing...
The first time I had "Boeuf Bourguignon" was I was 14 years ago and had just crossed the border into France from Switzerland. I was not a fan of beef but was BLOWN away. Thirty years later (go ahead, do the math), I still can't forget that dish and have been on a quest to find one that was equally amazing. I am excited to see they have it on their winter menu.
Please note that this place is in Whites Creek but worth the drive - about 14 miles from midtown Nashville (more or less depending on where you live). I scheduled it for a weekend to avoid "rush hour" traffic.
Please only sign up if you are SERIOUS about attending. The reservations have already been made for 12 but they will take more (so I will be watching the interest over the next week). Check will be separate and no gratuity will be added to your check, so please be generous with the staff.
This seasons menu includes: Bouillabaisse, sous vide Monkfish, Boeuf Bourguignon, Cassoulet and the above mentioned Prawns... There is the Polenta Napoleon for vegetarians.
